The High-Stakes Gift

Buying a leather jacket for someone else is aggressive. It says "I know your style better than you do."
If you get it right, you are a hero. If you get it wrong, it sits in the closet of shame.

Step 1: The Closet Raid (Ninja Mode)

Do NOT guess their size based on "they look like a Medium."
1. Wait for them to leave.
2. Find their favorite jacket (Denim, Canvas, or Wool). One that fits perfectly.
3. Lay it flat on the bed.
4. Measure Pit-to-Pit (Chest) and Shoulder-to-Shoulder.
5. Send those numbers to our Customer Support. We will tell you exactly which size matches.

Step 2: The Style Profile

Look at their shoes.
Boots (Red Wings, Timberland): They want a rugged, brown, heavy jacket (Trucker or Bomber).
Sneakers (Nike, Adidas): They want a black, sleek jacket (Racer or Bomber).
Dress Shoes (Loafers): They want a minimal, clean jacket (Cafe Racer).

Step 3: The "Consultation" Gift

If you are terrified of getting the size wrong:
Buy the Box, not the Jacket.
Wrap a predictable box with a printout of the jacket inside, or a leather swatch sample (we sell these for $5). Write a note: "I'm buying you this jacket, but I want the fit to be perfect. Let's measure you together."
This preserves the surprise but eliminates the risk.
